One of the world’s most distinguished footballers, Liopel Messi, made a stunning move this year to join Major League Soccer (MLS) side Iter Miami CF, co-owned by David Beckham. Showing his prowess off the pitch, he has already contributed to his new team’s success by helping them win the Leagues Cup. However, the most talked about property at the moment is the new home of Liopel Messi and his wife, Atopela Roccuzzo.
Designer Jorge Luis Veliz recently shared photos of the couple’s futuristic concept home, estimated to be worth $50 million (around Rs 413 crore), on social media. Veliz has shared the futuristic concept of the 2022 World Cup featuring the footballer’s new home, a stunning map located on a boat-shaped island, giving the couple privacy and exclusivity. The three stories of the map are a work of contemporary design art. Here are some new, never-before-seen images to back up my claim.
The 36-year-old reportedly turned down an offer from Saudi side Al-Hilal that would have paid him $300 million (roughly Rs 2.5 crore). Instead, Iter Miami co-owner Jorge Mas claimed that he has secured a contract with an MLS franchise that will pay him between $50-$60 million per year (roughly Rs 413-496 crore). Messi will still earn millions of dollars through endorsements like his exclusive profit-sharing deal with Adidas, although the amount is less than what Al-Hilal offered him. According to ESPN, he will also share the headsets of MLS players who subscribe to Apple’s Live Pass.
With Messi’s new deal worth an estimated $600 million (roughly Rs 4,965 crore), the Argentine footballer will soon be able to afford a brand new, custom-made map equipped with every imaginable amenity. There will be a theatre, games room, football pitch, spiral-designed water slide, yacht harbour, 20-car parking, a beautifully decorated party room, three helipads and more in his new map. The house also offers a spectacular panoramic view of the picturesque Miami coastline. Here are some previously seen images of Messi’s M-shaped Miami map.
In 2019, Messi reportedly purchased a beachfront condo in the South Island Beach region, Architectural Digest reported. The Porsche Design Tower condo is 3,555 square feet in size and features three bedrooms. Among its top cutting-edge features are a private pool with a sundeck, a sports car elevator made of glass, and more.
Two years after his previous purchase, in 2021, Messi spent over $7.3 million (roughly Rs 60 crore) on a storefront in Miami. The small apartment features bedrooms, a spa, a fitness and yoga studio, and a children’s playground, and is on the fifth floor of Regalia Tower. The views of the Miami skyline are spectacular. Messi reportedly put the house up for sale just a few months after purchasing it, The Sυп reported.
The world champion footballer has made significant real estate investments and owns multi-million-dollar houses in Ibiza, Barcelona and Rosario (Messi’s birthplace). See all his investments here.
